Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaNice one Christa.... wont call you MONKEY anymore lol, since you prefer the first name "ART" :) Hey buddy i like this one since i seldom get to see sunrises as i hardly wake up so early LOL... So, its good to see it thru your lens hehehe... Btw, there is a little flare in this picture pal, you should consider using the lens hood when shotting in light or at it. :-) 12 Apr 2007 6:45am @Rahul: ok - am I blind - I cannot see any flare - can you tell me where you see this? ajoeh from Mataram, IndonesiaWaw, this one is nice too, only little bit dark.. maybe you can try to use bigger aperture or slower shutter speed and see the different, but it is your choice:) 12 Apr 2007 6:59am @ajoeh: I shot it with a bunch of different shutter speeds and I liked this one the best - when it went lighter the colour was gone Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaJust above the mountains, to the left and below the sun, i saw two orange dots... Probably i am getting old and seeing things.... :) My apologies, if its part of sky and not lens flare ART. :) 12 Apr 2007 7:12am Art Monkey from Salt Spring Island, Canadathat's what I thought you saw - and as I said above - it's smoke!!! - the fire is still burning now! 12 Apr 2007 7:21am Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaOhhh, is it kinda jungle fire or something ? We have it a lot in indonesia here, where it kinda clouds up whole malaysia when jungles burn there. Guess, i got it wrong for flare buddy, my apology :-) Its a damn good sunrise which i would wish to see more hehehe... if only i can wake up early after working late nights. Sigh!! 12 Apr 2007 7:27am Bronnie from New ZealandGreat sky shot! That must be some fire to show up like that! I like this with the landscape at the bottom - quite a feature really! The morning haze adds drama to the atmosphere of the picture. 12 Apr 2007 1:49pm @Dornbrau: thank you Dornbrau - I appreciate you getting up so early - although I couldn't do it - I am not a morning person really - well to talk to anyway - I can take pictures though :) amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaYes! Great sky and wonderful horizon!! Love the detail of the trees in the foreground in silouette and the snaking of the strait around the islands. The fire is weird isn't it?? At first I thought it looked like a flare stack (being Albertan and all) but then saw it wasn't. You'll have to let us know what it is if you find out!! Oh yeah, MORNING SKY. ;-) 12 Apr 2007 2:29pm @amy: thank you amy and you are right with the anagram - I cannot see anything today as it was cloudy over there - so I don't know what happened still :( @Behrooz: thanks Behrooz - I will, except tomorrow - as you will see Pedro Ferreira from Loures, Portugalwith an image like this i bet the rest of the day went better, fine horizont. 12 Apr 2007 5:26pm @Pedro Ferreira: it was pretty good :) Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomA super sunrise, I hope the fire in the image isn't serious. 12 Apr 2007 10:48pm @Richard_Irwin: thanks Richard @Reza: thank you Reza ;) miu* from GA, United StatesExactly! 14 Apr 2007 2:01am |
